Rhoda Miriam, C-IAYT
As a certified yoga therapist since 1996, Rhoda facilitates a mindful approach
to the practice of yoga and its therapeutic benefits. Her gentle methods encourage
self-discovery and self-empowerment in a safe, supportive and enjoyable manner.
Yoga Classes & Events
Rhoda's yoga classes focus on the benefits of slowing down, and include a balance of gentle movement, breath awareness and guided relaxation. Additionally, techniques such as yoga nidra, restorative yoga and meditation are often included. The Yoga For Slow Living approach invites you to bring what you experience on your yoga mat out into your daily life by tapping into the essence of mindfulness: Non-judgmental, present-moment awareness.
Individual Yoga Therapy
The goal of your individual session work with Rhoda is to help you explore, develop and maintain manageable practices that support optimal wellness. A variety of methods--from classical wisdom traditions such as yoga and meditation to more contemporary approaches--are incorporated into a series designed for your unique needs. Benefits include reducing stress and anxiety, managing chronic pain and fatigue, and increasing focus and creativity.
